Reading blogs = spending moneymaking brilliant purchases

Who knew? I've scored lots of cute stuff on recommendations from blogger buddies. And I love supporting people who create unique, non mass-produced things.

Behold the treats in my mailbox this week:

A custom knitted hat from Lisagh at Grosgrain Garage. My husband asked "Where are you going to wear that?" "Everywhere," I said.

A birthday shirt for Sophie (shhh!—it's a surprise!) from Maggi at Green Magsterpie. There's a link there to her Etsy shop_—a financially dangerous place if there ever was one. I think this is a perfect birthday gift, and I'll be ordering some more for presents. You pick the tee shirt color, and Maggi send you swatches to choose from for the number. What fun!

Not only can these ladies write, they can MAKE THINGS too. I'm impressed.
