"Are you drunk again?!"

I can't believe I was asked this question at work at 10:00 in the morning, but then I guess there was reason:

Husband belongs to several wine clubs, where he is sent a section of several bottles several times a year, with an option to order more at a discounted price. Except for around the holidays, we usually don't order more, but it's a good chance to taste different things and accumulate a nice little collection of wine. Delivery services are getting very fussy these days about leaving alcohol without signature from a sober adult, so we have it delivered to my office. Husband says he does not want people in his office to think he's a big lush. In my office that's already a well-known fact.

What I really can't believe is that I was asked this question by someone who looks like this:

I've always been curious about those wine clubs. Do you like it? Which one would you recommend?

Ha! He asked because if you were, he was going to beaotch slap you for not giving him some of the goods to revel in the drunkness too. ;)

Hope you have a great weekend.

I LOVE IT!

Nothing wrong with being a lush!

I agree with Kimba.

Is that person in the picture Japanese? In Japan, it is CUSTOMARY to go out for drinks after work and drink till you drop. Case in point: on my first night ever in Kyoto, my friend and I were walking around Gion, the old geisha district and there were a bunch of salary men. One was particularly trashed and he had to be held up by his office mates, but collapsed to the ground.

When I saw that, I KNEW I was in Japan.

M., yes he is. Blows all American stereotypes of Asians being polite and respectful out of the water.

I absolutely love this man. Whenever I feel like giving someone a little hell, there he is. And he dishes it right back in fine fashion. I try to stop by the mailroom for a little attitude adjustment every morning. :)
