This concludes my shopping at the winter sales.
This came from the sale rack of Anthropologie, located (can you believe it??) almost right across the street from Sophie's Saturday morning ceramics class. It's been somewhat of a problem.
I think this will be cute in the summer with a black sleeveless sweater and heeled black sandals, but I also like it now with a fitted long-sleeved black v-neck tee and black boots. Target tees and Anthropologie skirts have been sort of a staple for me: spend money on the skirt, save money on the tee.
Thank goodness for my daughter. My husband didn't even notice this new purchase (perhaps that's better), but Sophie spotted it right away and gave me a thumbs up.

I do that too. Target tees with better (read: more $$$$) skirts and pants. This skirt is adorable. Enjoy!
thats really cute
Oh, Anthropologie. That would be a huge problem for me, too! I bought a great wool coat at the one in Corte Madera after Christmas. That sale room is pretty fabulous. I'm glad I don't pass one on a regular basis, though, or it would be dangerous. Very cute skirt.
Adorable! I also think it would look really cute with flops flops and a colorful tank (yellow? royal blue? green!) in the summer months.
BTW, my mom always made us write thank you notes when we were kids and though I didn't like it at the time, it's a habit that stuck. I always write thank you notes -- for gifts, job interviews, you name it!
Very cute skirt! I am with you on the Target t's and better skirts/pants. Excellent strategy!
Excellent, excellent, excellent skirt! Now I am all rarin' to go to Anthropologie. Bad. Very bad.
Why have I never stepped foot in an Anthropologie before?
I love the skirt, and I wore lots of casual skirts last summer (I hate shorts).
