The suits are unhappy

They are concerned. Worried. Confused. Depressed.

Can anyone find me a picture of a happy suit? Anyone? Anyone?

Is there new doom being reported? Or are these guys still just bummed about the overall collapse at hand?

I guess it's a good time to celebrate having been too stupid to invest money years ago. I don't have anything to lose in the stock market.

But I hope things improve for all of you who do!

These pictures are great. I'm telling you, it's hitting hard, and it's hitting everywhere. I just talked to my dad a little bit ago and he has had a couple of sleepless nights. He's taking HUGE hits.

Best wishes to all as we try to get through.

becs: Thanks for the tag! I've got an award to handle though, so it might take me a bit to respond. Hope you're feeling better this weekend!

kate & ksk: Thanks for the pics! I'm feeling better already.

angelina: I'm not worried about our investments as much as I am about Husband's job. Our modest investments are for the long term, which I think will eventually be ok. But Husband is project manager in a small construction company, and they're holding on by the skin of their teeth. All those remodel projects people financed with home equity lines—not so much any more. But also, just knowing that others are hurting, losing jobs, losing houses is hard.

Scary stuff! I felt that way yesterday when the interest rates closed at 71/8!

I'm sure I could find you a picture of George Bush in a suit, smiling, but honestly, would anyone want to see that?
