In with the new and out—
really out—with the old

My ski boots, which I've had for almost twelve years and were barely intermediate-level boots to begin with, drew reactions of shock and horror from the NASTC staff at my ski clinic earlier in the week. Comments ranged from "Sister, you need new boots. Right now." to just "No. Oh God, no." I had been meaning to get new boots at some point, but now since they were declared officially condemned, I had no choice but to act and put them out of their misery.

Behold, after over two hours of professional boot fitting, the most excellent boots ever. YEAH!

But still, I was sad to heap dirt on the old ones (I had to admit, they are comfortable—kind of like skiing in Ugg boots, which I guess is sort of the problem) . . . until I saw how cute they looked in their new incarnation. I think they're happy.

Cute blog! I found your blog thru a couple of blogs! I wanted to ask about the Paper Crafts site. I love stationary and plan on doing all personalized/monogrammed items for this season of giving (yes, I'm a little ahead of the game. LOL) But they all look so cute, I can't help but thing ahead. LOL Can you tell me your experience with the online store? Thank you!
