Hey, I saw this link on the blogher ad banner and, living in Berkeley, I had to click. We live pretty close to this car and drive by it all the time. The house is just as crazy looking and they actually have a second car that matches. It's on Curtis, just north of Gilman.
That is one of the many things I loved about living in there. We lived in Pleasanton for awhile. Livi was born there.
Once when we were in SF for dinner, we saw a little VW bug covered in faux fur. We even backed up just so I could take a picture!
Good times when you can laugh at a car!
