The Big Fig Limoncello Give Away

I've been experimenting with lemon drop recipes ever since the MIL discovered this beverage and declared it her favorite cocktail. I've come up with some reasonable versions but hit upon the perfect one the last weekend using my newly bottled homemade limoncello. Not too sweet, not too boozy—just right.

And now this beverage can be yours. You can follow my recipe (given in two parts, here and here) or you can win a bottle of my homemade limoncello, two stainless steel camping martini glasses (just because you're camping doesn't mean you should do without some comforts of home), Meyer lemons from my tree, and a lemon drop martini recipe.

Entering is easy! Leave a comment to this post, and you're in. A comment introducing yourself if you're a new commenter would be nice but is not required. Winners will be drawn Wednesday after Sophie comes home from violin.

The terms of winning include the obligation to host your own give away. If you do not have your own blog but would still like to enter, you may do so with the agreement that if you win, I post an interview with you on my blog. I'll then host your give away here at Figs.

Good luck!

I think since my maiden name is Meyer, I deserve multiple entries. This looks delish!

Ohh, I so want to win this! I should get a bonus entry 'cause I'm local. And I camp. And I keep saying I'm going to make my own limoncello, but haven't yet (big freeze of 2 years ago nearly took out my lemon tree, and it's just now back to looking like a tree. No lemons yet.).

:-)

I never, ever enter giveaways but this is too good to pass up! Please enter me as I will (GOD WILLING) be giving birth in the next week and will be in the market, shall we say, for some limoncello! Meyer lemons are my fave!

I'm more than happy to host a giveaway on my blog but I can't promise it'll be as awesome as this one!

hand waving frantically, because i don't have the proper container to make limoncello, and i camp incessantly and have NO martini glasses to take with me. and i'd pick it up and save you postage, and i know it's a drawing, but i need some snazzy cocktails for camping right after school lets out. and i have no blog but would gladly guest blog for a moment. hope mother's day was all that!

I am really new to your site but really wish I could live where you do. Texas wheather has not been boading well to citrus growing. Well at least the part where I live. I would love your recipe for lemoncello. We are in the process of moving and I will need something to fill my days. We have lots of wild mint growing so I must do something with that before we move.

Me too! Me too! I did Limoninis last summer. Limoncello + champagne. Very tasty!!

I'm feeling lucky! : )

Hmmm...if I don't win, can I BUY some lemons from you?! :)

Lemon drops are one of my favorite martinis, especially as the days turn warmer! There's nothing like a frosty cold glass filled with lemony goodness. We even had citrus drops at our wedding (fresh lemon, lime and orange juice in place of just lemon) instead of a champagne toast. Even if I don't win I'll be trying your recipe with some store bought limoncello. Thanks for the idea! Happy belated Mother's Day! - Bri
