And finally, a new skirt

This concludes my shopping at the winter sales.


This came from the sale rack of Anthropologie, located (can you believe it??) almost right across the street from Sophie's Saturday morning ceramics class. It's been somewhat of a problem.

I think this will be cute in the summer with a black sleeveless sweater and heeled black sandals, but I also like it now with a fitted long-sleeved black v-neck tee and black boots. Target tees and Anthropologie skirts have been sort of a staple for me: spend money on the skirt, save money on the tee.

Thank goodness for my daughter. My husband didn't even notice this new purchase (perhaps that's better), but Sophie spotted it right away and gave me a thumbs up.

Presenting today's dress

Another one from Boden's winter sale, the Sassy Jersey Dress. Although I don't look nearly this sassy in it, being—you know—a very serious editor and all.



And I don't have those kicky little velvet heel but rather tall black riding-type boots.
